Surface Design Study
(Final Work) (with lines) Alex Janvier (Artist inspo) (taken by me, in Ottawa inside the MoMa museum) I have always admired Janvier's work, especially since I have seen it in person. I adore the colours and patterns within each of his works, and I wanted to create my own mosaic design but still be full of colours. Getting Started: The planning and starting of this project was probably one of the hardest things I have had to do. To get my mind flowing with ideas, I just opened Rhino 7 and just created shapes until something stuck with me. Learning the hatching technique was very difficult for me to grasp my head around it, as well as the layers and their individual functions. However, I met with Bryan and he helped me out tremendously and in return I finally felt confident to work on it once again. to conclude this project and the research, I am confident to say that I am proud of my work.
