OBJECT ONE: Stapler



Object 1: I picked a stapler as one of the possible objects I can use for this upcoming project as it has a complex design that I think I wouldn't be too hard for me to do. I has a spring and interlocking metal pieces that I think would be a fun challenge for me.

OBJECT TWO: Toy Car






Toy Car: I picked the toy car as it is small, but also has a lot to the design of it. the wheels and axis and the base I feel is simple enough for me to do, but complex enough in the way that it can come apart.



OBJECT THREE: White Out



White Out: while I was looking for other objects I could consider using for this project I found this white out. I was attracted to the design of the white out as it has two gears and other small parts that I think would be successful using in this project coming up.

  (Final Work) (with lines) Alex Janvier (Artist inspo) (taken by me, in Ottawa inside the MoMa museum) I have always admired Janvier's work, especially since I have seen it in person. Chess Set idea - Mary Babichuk

  Pawn : Ice cream Sandwich Rook : Hot Dog Knight : Sub Sandwich Bishop : Turkey Club Sandwich Queen : Cheese Burger King : "Big Mac" Burger For this chess set, I wanted to pick something that may be a little easier for me to create on rhino. I wanted something fun yet simple so I went with various hand held foods! specifically "sandwich" type food. I took into consideration of the platforms the food will sit on, and wanted to make the Bishop, Queen, and King to all be different from the other 3.  I am curious as to if I can paint these chess pieces once they've been printed so I can make them look exactly like the food.  Needless to say, I feel quite confident about this, and I believe I can do it!
